Thanks to the regulations for the Western Balkans, Germany offers seasonal jobs to students from this area, the condition is that the student is enrolled in an accredited faculty in his country and that the seasonal job is performed during the semester break. The student must not be older than 35 years and can work a maximum of 90 days in a 12-month period.

We remind you that the Regulation for the Western Balkans applies to the residents of Serbia, Kosovo and Metohija, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Albania, we have already written about it in the Oportunity Card.

The jobs offered to students of the Western Balkans are diverse: from agricultural farms, through work at festivals to hotel and catering. Daily wages range from 12 to 20 euros. Students need a visa and a contract or a binding job offer from a German employer.
